“Could I work from Lisbon in August?” is six questions pretending to be one. RWA answers all six — weather, cost, visa, safety, measured wifi and the hours you’d actually share with your team — then fuses them into a single 0–100 number and tells you exactly how it got there.

Strong on climate, connectivity and visa-free entry; cost is comfortably below your London baseline. The watch-out is coverage of your Sydney colleague — you share no working hours at all, so anything with Steve has to be async or shifted.
Timezone overlap
Destination local timeIllustrative output. The weights above are the engine’s real defaults and shift with the trip’s purpose — a team offsite leans harder on overlap, a focus trip on wifi. The live engine runs on your dates, your team’s timezones, Open-Meteo climate data and the wifi speeds filed against spots in that city. Signals with no data are dropped and the remaining weights renormalised, so a thin city still gets an honest score.

Every number comes from a filed report
RWA never estimates a spot and never scrapes one. A venue’s wifi, power, noise and light scores are computed only from reports somebody filed after sitting down and working there — which is why an unrated spot says “unrated” rather than inventing four-and-a-half stars.
The launch dataset is seeded, so there’s a registry to explore rather than an empty map. Every seeded report is tagged Demo dataset on the spot page and is attributed to no real person. Real reports go through exactly the same pipeline and pull the averages towards the truth as they land.
